We’ll be visiting the Ascrib Islands, home to a vibrant puffin breeding colony. Each year during May, June, and July, puffins return from the vast Atlantic to nest and raise their young pufflings. These charismatic seabirds make their homes in burrows dug into the steep, grassy slopes of the islands, creating a lively and unforgettable wildlife spectacle.

Hop aboard the Puffin Express—an exhilarating wildlife adventure on our high-speed Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB)!
We’ll journey to Fladda Island, a remote and rugged haven that hosts a thriving puffin breeding colony during the summer months. Watch these charismatic seabirds as they nest, fish, and take flight along the wild Atlantic cliffs.
We cruise along the dramatic Jurassic Coast, taking in stunning geological formations and sea views, before reaching Rubha Hunish, the northernmost tip of the Isle of Skye.
Our voyage continues with a crossing to the Fladda Islands, situated between Skye and the Outer Hebrides. These isolated isles are famous for their rich seabird colonies, where hundreds of birds—including puffins, razorbills, guillemots, and more gather to breed each year.
This fast-paced, nature-packed trip offers a unique chance to explore one of Scotland’s most remote and wildlife-rich marine environments.

Trips can book out a few weeks in advance. To avoid disappointment I recommend to book your places as early as possible.

Terms & Conditions
In the event of the weather being unsuitable in the interests of comfort and safety, the trip will be cancelled. In such events, passengers will be offered an alternative date. If not suitable for the passenger, there will be a full refund. In event of the passenger cancelling there will be no refund unless the seat can be re-sold, in which case there will be a refund (subject to deduction of a 10% admin charge.) We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
